Match 15: Gophers visit Nebraska (11-14-24)

There should be less pressure in this match. Maybe, they can play freer and better. Hopefully, they will learn more about themselves, especially what they can do well. I hope Nebraska doesn't exploit their weaknesses before they learn something positive.

I fully expect Landfair to have her best match of the season against the Gophers. I mean, why not?

Hate to say it but the longer this team struggles with serve receive, the more doubts about Cook's ability start to seep in for me. How did he ever lead a team to a Final Four or win those Pac12 Championships? (Sorry! It's so easy to have negative thoughts about Gopher sports. ;)

Remember the days when we looked forward to this match up and not dread it? Seems like ages ago!

Gophers take set 2. That is a moral victory for this Gopher fan!

This was better than I expected. Still too many errors but at least some flashes of competent volleyball. I'm also pleased that Landfair didn't have a huge night against them. That would have been seriously depressing.

I thought in the second and third sets that the Gophers did the best job of receiving, digging, and scrapping of the season. If they would have done that in the previous two matches, they would have won both. However, 12 services errors is way too many.
