Don't forget tomorrow (Sunday) is Maroon and Gold Day at the State Fair. All U alumni and students and all Gopher fans are encouraged to wear the colors to the fair on Sunday.
The day, for me, usually includes the following Gopher-related activities:
-Brewster, usually some players, Maturi, and sometimes Bruininks on the Sports Huddle at the WCCO Radio building around 10:00am. They often mingle with the crowd and its great to have Gopher fans in the crowd to cheer, ask questions, etc. during the radio show.
- A trip to the U of M building to pick up this year's posters, schedules, check out the pictures, etc.
- The U of M Marching Band, Goldy, Spirit Squads, and at least Bruininks are in the State Fair parade at 2:00.
This year there is also supposed to be a special TCF Bank Stadium display at a location other than the U building. Has anyone seen it or know what it is?
So...tomorrow's the day...hope to see some 'Holers at the fair wearing the old maroon and gold. Of course that's actually a good idea no matter what day you go to the Fair!
