Mark Few to Minnesota?

Richmomd...Why do you say that? Strong rumors have him linked to the UCLA job, that means he is a candidate at U of MN as well, probably. Its a bigger program then at Gonzaga with more money available...

I love how people on this board bash others for voicing an opinion. Whether or not Few comes or not, there have been plenty of other unlikely candidates thrown out on this board also. With Teague, you just never know. He's mysterious. Hopefully he can come through and get us the "right" guy.

Breakin, you might be right on that regarding bleacher report, Im not sure but they have been right as well about a number of things. I would not just dismiss them out of hand. Many avid sports followers like the Bleacher Report.

Please, please go back to trolling VT, Uva, VCU forums. Richmondinsider, VCUinsider or whatever else you call yourself:cool02:

I'm putting him on my ignore list, as well as broken record Dwight.

How far can we go? Let's have threads on Calipari, Pitino ... see how high up the chain we can go before we all agree we're crazy. I'll bet a Phil Jackson thread would be a blast.

No, wait ... we don't want Phil Jackson. He's an NBA guy. Can't recruit.

Mad, Im not trying to tick you off here. I just wanted to gather opinions...

Already is/was a Phil Jackson thread. Plus, I don't think the triangle would work in college. Too complex for players.

Im with you but I am interested in the logical choices and discussing them. Few is not like Patino or Calipari. Few is at a small school with a low salary but an equally winning record.

Dwight can think of one reason Few might come to Minnesota...

Dwight: "Would I ever leave this company? Look, I'm all about loyalty. In fact, I feel like part of what I'm being paid for here is my loyalty. But if there were somewhere else that valued loyalty more highly, I'm going wherever they value loyalty the most."

If this Few thread gets anymore reads, it may surpass the Stevens, and Flip threads...

So far Madtown is certain Few is not coming as he was a student at Gonzaga and he is sure Buzz is not coming as he graduated from Marquette law. HE is the true insider as he know everyone and everything about everyone. So who is coming as the next coach, please tell?

Not my fault people bring up coaches that have very good situations and would have next to zero motivation to go to an at best middle of the road Big Ten school with some of the worst facilities in the country. Just calling it like I see it.

Matt...Why would Tubby have come to MN? Why would Shaka stay at VCU? Why would Self goto Kansas? Patino to Louisville? Crean to Indiana? Ryan to WI?

Who knows is the answer. Money speaks and does the chance to go to a bigger and better conference and College. Few only makes 980K at Gonzaga...MN could pay him around 2-3MM per year. For that I would do it! How about you?

I still believe that someone like Mark Few who has been successful at a school like Gonzaga for so long may look for a new challenge. Can I beat Izzo, Can I beat Crean, so on through the good teams in the BIG, instead of only having to seat St. Mary's a couple times a year to be the best in my conference. Until Few moves on to bigger and getter there will always be the... he was a good coach but...comments made about him. I can see him wanting to move, good situation or not. My opinion which is not universally shared.
