Win Twins!!
I assume the "home" east coast teams would play at 3-4 PM Pacific. TV would drive all of course.Game time would be all over the place
Maybe they can play two games at the same time? I'd watch.Game time would be all over the place
some of the stuff in this proposal is just goofy.
Instead of sitting in the dugout, players would sit in the bleachers to maintain social distancing.
And electronic strike zones (nothing can go wrong with that...)
This comes down to the owners trying to salvage as much of the season as they can so they can collect on their TV contracts. Teams with favorable local cable TV deals will be OK, but teams like the Twins that don't rake in $ from local cable need gate receipts. Wait and see - there will be demands for revenue sharing of local cable TV money if this plan goes forward.
The idea of the players sitting in the stands 6 feet apart is ridiculous. They're going to be together in the clubhouse. They're going to be near each other in the field, on the bases, at he plate, etc. This will only work if/when players can be easily tested daily.some of the stuff in this proposal is just goofy.
