Are all the luxury suites being used and who gets them? They said it was first come first serve. I can't believe they are not using them. Anyone know?

Gopher season ticket holders who own them get first dibs

if they don't want them, Vikings can sell to their suite holders. There are fewer suites at TCF, but they are bigger than dome- so Viks can combine some of their customers into one suite according to vikings press conference. For vikings premium customers who can't get into suites, I suspect they are putting them in the club level seating because those will be controlled- not first come first served.

This is correct. The suite and loge-box holders have first right-of-refusal to their suite/loge for any event held at TCF Bank Stadium. The Vikings and UofM negotiated a per-ticket cost for Monday's game and the holders then had the option of purchasing the seats for their suite/loge box. The suites that were not retained by the original holders will be utilized by Viking suite owners. The Metrodome has twice as many suites as TCF so it is highly unlikely any will be unused on Monday.

They will be heated. They will all be used.

I got a phone call from the U offering me the option to purchase Vikes tickets for Monday night. The prices was $500 a ticket for my box. I didn't get much time to decide but I knew I wasn't going already.

It's going to be interesting because obviously there are fewer suites at TCF but there are quite a few loge boxes. I would imagine that's where the Vikes will make up for the shortage of suites.

And if you've ever been to a suite at the Dome you know how much they suck. Feels like being in a big closet.

I was going to say...I bet those vikings suite holders that get them at TCF for the game will be pretty happy with what they have vs. the dome...booze aside.

$500.00? LOL, pee my pants. The game is worth $25.00 max and that could be a stretch. What a joke. Anybody who pays that is a fool.
