Luka

Luka looks like he eats 3 plates of bratwurst and cheese curds after every game, then chases it down with 10 Miller Lites

oh, he probably is in the Top Ten though!
If I was putting together a starting 5 of NBA players I can’t stand I’d go with the following:

Draymond
Luka (Doncic not Garza)
Jimmy Butler
Chris Paul
Russell Westbrook

Trae Young is close to replacing Paul. Can’t stand the guys who stop short to draw contact.

I'll add Lebron to the list. He's fine doing a RUM where he steamrolls anyone in his way to the basket, but if someone touches him, he's on the ground rolling. I like that even his teammates could care less about him being down. They all just walk away and let him lay on the floor.

So your trying to say that a guy who is 6'9" and 250 shouldn't crumple to the ground when bumping into a guy who is 6'4" and 203 lbs? :)

Charles Barkley, who must go 340, was a stitch to listen to. He was ripping Luka, saying he couldn't guard a chair and that someone needs to get to Luka about his weight and conditioning.
Barkley understands the struggles with weight some guys have but he also played his ass off on both sides of the court when he played. And my guess is he worked hard to be in the best shape he could in order to compete. He sees Luka as lazy because Luka only plays offense and doesn't seem interested in getting in shape.

Did you ever watch Chuck when he was at Auburn? The dude was the most athletic wide load I have ever seen. It took Bobby Knight cutting him from the Olympic team to shake him up and lose about 50 lbs to play in the NBA. But, watching a 6'5" 300 lb dude go elbows over the rim for a dunk while parting the red sea of defenders was fun to watch. You saw Chuck was bound for greatness at Auburn. Man, I would love to get an unknown kid like Chuck to play for the Gophers.

His college days were before I really got into basketball at all but he was one of my favorite NBA players growing up.

I can't think of another player who is so good on offense, and absolutely bad on defense. He definitely should lose some weight and get better conditioned.

Maybe he’s in shape. Don’t see how anyone could carry on after every play. Could you that energy to play some defense.

JJ just nailed the shit out of Luka. He said the "team" needed to get in championship shape during the offseason. Everybody else on the roster looks to be in excellent physical condition.

Nico wasn't crazy to trade him. He blew it on the compensation.

No there is not
Oh yes there is. As a connoisseur of crappy beers the worst beer of all time is Mountain Crest closely followed by Boxer. Believe it or not those two are made from the same company. In college we bought boxer once because it came in a 36 pack. We didn't finish the case.

For a reference Mountain Crest had the taste of rotten cherries and can still make me gag years later.
Milwaukee's best light.

Remembering buying a 30 pack for $10. 30 cents a beer 😂😂
Also another beer definitely worse than Miller Lite.

Yeah....he didn't say Luka's name but that is about as obvious as it could have been who he was talking about.

Definitely agree on Boxer. My son and his buddies used to drink that while in college because it's so cheap, but still not worth it.

To be fair, I don't think even Luka would drink Miller Lite. Good grief, could there be a worse tasting beer?
I can tolerate a Miller Lite if there isn’t a choice. But Michelob Ultra has to be the worst.

LeBron is an incredibly difficult player to referee due to his physical gifts and his willingness to frequently be the most physical player on the floor. I realize many believe he gets a friendly whistle - and perhaps he does on the aggregate - but there is no doubt that contact called as a foul for smaller players is frequently ignored when he has the ball. As for the play shown in the video clip - he had an MRI and was diagnosed with a Grade 2 MCL sprain, something that would have kept him out if the Lakers hadn't been eliminated. Tough to claim he was embellishing that moment.

Not a Laker fan, but I do consider it a blessing to have watched LeBron's career. He's possibly the best to ever play.

If you didn't see Oscar Robinson play, you didn't see the best to ever play. The Big O nearly averaged a triple double throughout his entire NBA career.

Lebron is amazing, one of the greatest, but IMO he is clearly not comfortable in his own skin and I think some of his antics on and off the court feel exaggerated and inauthentic. I don't love watching him play basketball and off the court is tough. I tried to watch that "barbershop" show he had and it was unwatchable (while most other NBA podcasts are great).

I actually like watching Chris Paul now (used to hate him) because it's almost like he leans into being the villain. He's almost like a heal in wrestling.

August 1986, going back to college. I bought 3 cases of Meister Brau (aka Mr. Beast) @ $4/case. Lucky for me, I only pissed a few bucks away. Probably the last time I "skimped" on buying beer.
