Loving the pub from the Vikings/Falcons game

The one thing I noticed is that they never referred to it as TCF Bank Stadium, they always said "the stadium at the University of Minnesota". Anyone know why they wouldn't say the actual name of the stadium?

And I don't see it as a problem.

Actually, "the stadium at the University of Minnesota" would seem preferable to me over TCF.

To the the best of my knowledge, TCF doesn't have a football program. Not to mention it is relatively local company and 99.9% of the people across the country have NO idea where TCF stadium is or to whom it belongs.

Continually mentioning the U on an ongoing basis during an NFL broadcast... that's good ink. The kind you can't buy. At least not cheaply, anyway.

The championship banners are not covered up. I sat right in front of them at the Vikings game today. They're right where they've always been.

Also, Kill, Claeys, and Kaler were all there today with the Little Brown Jug. They showed it on the jumbotron several times.

The U of M band played at halftime.

The weather was beautiful and, while I didn't watch on tv, I have to imagine there were some great shots of the stadium on a perfect fall day.

And, like every other game the Vikings play here, they paid us a bunch of money.

I'm not sure what more you can reasonably ask for!!!

And that ton of money is paying for the new roof at Williams Arena.
