Wasn’t as familiar with Kelly. He does seem sleazy as well, but his transgressions were once he was hired. Why hire someone with Urban’s track record?
 

It's funny how people still lament Holtz leaving after 2 seasons 35 years ago. Probably because it's the last time the U has lost a coach in a major men's sport to another program.
 

I believe Skip Holtz is ready and available, if ND would just give him a chance. Lol

Cause you kept a coach who was responsible for a student dying for a decade. Urban banging 23 year olds isn’t on that level.

Lots of criminals. I know of a couple former gophers under fleck who are criminals and that was swept under the rug. Granted no high profile murder cases yet.

No, it won’t right now. Our young, very promising, upward trending & mobile coach is working his way into a position to continue to be mentioned during crazy college inflationary times such as the end of the 2021 season though!

Even now, as he closes each interview with an incredibly fast, yet well enunciated and clear: “…row the boat, ski-u-mah, go Gophers…”, our coach continues to build his resume!

In five short seasons, he has progressed from a media darling, can’t miss: “… up and coming phenom…” at Western Michigan to a still young coach establishing himself as Big Ten Western Conference middle of the pack and making a run at a BT Western Conference contending program coach who has built a 20-21, .489 BT winning percentage!

Coach Fleck is wise beyond his years. He realizes that a lightening rod coaching position such as Notre Dame does not afford the good Frs. running the Golden Dome Football Factory in South Bend the necessary resume & needs more red meat to give their New York Subway boosters than Coach Flecks current 20-21 .489 BT winning record. If things didn’t work out, even Father Flanagan’s head would be on the block in Golden Dome Country.



So, Coach Fleck build a STRONGER resume here in: “…row the boat, ski-u-mah, go Gopher Country…” A
BT Western Division crown is a MUST at the very least. Also, a BT winning percentage of .601, or better is a MUST! A BT Championship season would put P.J. Over the top in the college coaching derby lottery sweepstakes.

And that will be the time for Gopher Fans to really worry.

If they are convicted criminals like UF guys it is public record
