looks like we may have to wait awhile to find out about Marshall

No one is leaving the team they just took to the Final Four to come to MN. No chance. Move on.

His stock will never be hire then now. Ask Matt Barkley about timing. His options are TT or NM?
He can take Kansas' seconds and build a program just like Butler and VCU. He's officially out of our league.

I don't trust enfield, especially since I had never heard of him until this season.

Did you hear of Shaka before his final four run?

Did you hear of Brad Stevens before his title game run?

Did you hear of Buzz Williams before he started taking Marquette deep in the tourney?

Did you hear of Marshall before this year?

We're going to the next level !!!!!!!!

Nobody said the next level would be UP! Next stop .... the bargain basement!

Yes, yes, yes, and yes.

I had never even heard of Florida Gulf Coast before two weeks ago.

He may very well be a good hire. I just hope, if he were to get hired, it isn't solely based on their two tournament wins.

Brrrr got goose bumps, That's kinda creepy, reminds me of a scene from 'The Devil's Advocate.' Hey Doc, you look anything like Al Pacino?

I can say I had never heard of Shaka before his run---no I wouldn't have hired him after his first run.

I had heard of brad Stevens, again, I wouldn't have jumped at him after his first tourney run

I had heard of buzz Williams and I think what he has done at Marquette is amazing. I wouldn't have hired him after his first sign of success.

I had not heard of marshal, and I wouldn't hire him after his first run

I would hire coaches based a long body of work and enfield in my opinion hasn't done enough. Could he be the next John wooden? Sure, could be be the next Tim Brewster? Sure

It's just my opinion, feel free to disagree

Reasonable - problem is there is not likely to be anyone with a flawless body of work. We aren't perceived as that good of a gig yet.

So it really comes down to what imperfections we will accept and are they fatal flaws. The guy we sign will have issues.

I agree, my opinion was strictly for enfield. He could be a great coach but, I don't feel we are in a position to just take a risk. I want Flip for basically one reason, I think he will get the boosters to build a practice facility and other amenities. After that the Minnesota job doesn't look like a retirement job or a position that is career suicide

I would be totally on board with Flip if he agreed to hire mostly all college assistants with a really strong network in the college game and proven recruiting experience. And absolutely NOT his kid.

I was suspicious from day one this was all about his friends and family and not about the U - that has proven to me to be the case. He could reverse that but that means a pretty big helping of humble pie. I think Norwood can give some but not on the nepotism - we been there done that. Not happening again for awhile.
