Looks like a new road uniform for tomorrow...

AFTER LABOR DAY!?!?!?
They don't look as fat after Labor Day.

The colors go well together, but I'm not a fan of white "M". Probably becaue of the disgusting loss at Whyowa in 2019, and they had it against the The Tattoo Parlor State this year. It's like growing up knowing snakes are everywhere and so you are always wary. So any time I see the white M, I get nervous twitches.

The biggest revelation from this video was the pushing-the-boat-in-the-water in this week's uni combo.

This means that either:

A. they take players to the lake and stuff and set up reasonably elaborate video shoots mid-week before the games
B. they shot a whole bunch of stock footage when the team went to the lake earlier this summer, and have all the uniforms by game pre-planned at start of season

Why wear a metallic gold helmet against a team that wears...metallic gold helmets?

Oh yeah. It's what the kids like.

Well...

I would guess the Buffs will wear black jerseys, gold pants, and their dull, non-metallic, non-reflective gold helmets.

Like this...

You do realize there is a substantial river that runs through campus, right? People can row on that too.

I don't know if we'll win...

... but we'll definitely look sharper than them.

I know, without a doubt, that I'm in the minority on this, but I like white in the uniforms. I really liked the all-white look they trotted out a few years back. And I love the chrome gold helmets. So... this looks great, in my opinion.

You sound like my wife gearing up for a massive fight about how off-white and eggshell are drastically different colors.

Not necessarily. There’s an option C where the uniforms aren’t pre-planned and they did a bunch of “just in case” video clips at the lake a la Tom Brokaw.

I thought there was a beach that made an appearance when I first saw it, which made me think of the lake trip they did in August. On closer inspection it's more of an unimproved shore.

I looked a little closer and you can see what appears to be a couple West Bank buildings peeking over the trees. Mystery solved :)

Now that I sobered up and sat down, they look pretty good, but my snake analogy about white M didn't go away. Gold on white looks good.
I still like that Ice-T is narrating these things.

Yes these are pretty fun. I think there was a line in there about imposing our culture on them :)

"We Row" hype video.

Pause it at 1:02 for the uniform. Metallic gold helmet with white block "M". White jersey with maroon numeral. White pants.

Is it just me, or . . . we live in Minnesota, don't we know the difference between paddling a boat and rowing a boat?

But what if it's a paddle boat? I guess then they can park it on the river and make a casino out of it.

Yep. We have 10,000 lakes; we really should know this.

— Paddle a canoe, a kayak, a paddle board, etc. With a paddle.

— Row a boat. With oars.

"The difference between oars and paddles is that oars are used exclusively for rowing."

Shoot, I posted this on the in-game thread. Should have posted it here.

I'm not even one of the kids, and I love these unis!

Just noticed the number on the left side of the helmet. I like that.
