Looking forward to NIT

Lets face it without Al, Royce and Trevor, we are not a very talented team. We played inspired for a couple games because of the focus of playing for Paul's sister, but our lack of talent showed tonight.

If we had made it to the Big Dance, we were strong candidates to be one and done. Now going to the NIT, we can extend the season longer. At least we have a real chance to be playing for some kind of championship. Playing in several NIT games will be better preparation for next year than one and done in NCAA. Can't wait for the NIT.

You do make a good point... Many of our players need experience in big games... even though NIT isn't what everyone hopes for, it's still nothing to be ashamed of like people seem to think it is.
