Hey all, big game coming up Saturday against one of the best teams in the country. Certainly not impossible to get a victory, though, as this list shows against top 15 teams:

• 1986 defeated No. 2 Michigan, 20-17
• 1990 defeated No. 13 Iowa, 31-24
• 1993 defeated No. 15 Wisconsin, 28-21
• 1999 defeated No. 2 Penn State, 24-23
• 2000 defeated No. 6 Ohio State, 29-17
• 2005 defeated No. 11 Purdue, 42-35
• 2019 defeated No. 4 Penn State, 31-26
• 2021 defeated No. 14 Wisconsin, 23-13

‘99 season was painfully close to being an extraordinary season: one score home losses to Purdue; Ohio State & Wisconsin. In the Badger game, Tyrone Carter is dinged up and misses a series and they drive the field for a touchdown. In overtime, we’re called for holding on a running play and we end up with a naught possession.
