This is excellent analysis. Very insightful. How refreshing to hear/see two commentators from outside the program who actually know what they're talking about regarding Gopher football! Perry was on the broadcast team for the Michigan State beatdown, and Butt actually covered the Gopher spring game.
They show impressive knowledge of the roster and understanding of the Fleck philosophy of program building.
This is a short segment, well worth watching for Gopher fans.
This is what I want from our local sports commentators — not because it is "positive", but because it shows that they have made an effort to learn about the subject, rather than simply spewing superficial faux-insight and cracking lame jokes.
Then again, I'm comparing analysts/commentators to entertainers, I suppose. It's probably unfair of me.
