I think we'd be 3 or 4 point favorites on the road, so it's gotta be at least -5 or -6 since we are at home, right?

My prediction: the Gophs are -7.5 favorites.

Sagarin has us -10 plus home field advantage, so maybe even -13.5

Hope we can live up to that. I'd prefer a game with little to no drama.

Boilermakers put up some points in their loss to MSU. There is no way we can overlook them on Saturday. The same effort we put into Northwestern is what we'll need to put into Purdue.

We have the capability to be 10 point favorites, but I'll take any win we can get.

+1, A win is a win. And in regards to the spread I would definitely take Purdue if the spread is -10 or more. I think we should win the game, but with out a high-power offense and inability yesterday to run effectively on 1st Down I would definitely take the points.

-7.5 to -9 is my guess? Our offense isn't worthy of being a double digit favorite, imo.

Well there it is....-15.5

Strange opener. 15 is a dead number so it's not very common. Interesting.

Man. No love for Purdue. I bet it's close to -10 at kickoff.

Line will probably settle around 10 or so just because we don't score a ton of points. At which point I would very likely take that action. Especially if it gets down to -9.5. I think we'll come out hyped up and perform.

Maryland -2.5 vs Iowa. Interesting.

That has all the makings of a very interesting game. I wouldn't bet on it at all (even if we didn't know how bad I am at picking).

Maryland now at -3 to -3.5 on vegasinsider. Vs Iowa

We better be ready to play.

They were a bad pass away from losing to MSU by 7.

Are we better than losing to MSU by a touchdown?

Can't say since we don't play. Maybe Purdue played their best game off the season, perhaps MSU played their worst. Dinardo pointed out that Sparty is getting worse add the season goes on, which appears to be the case. Vegas doesn't have this line because they want a lot of Purdue fans to make major money...

If you aren't on Maryland side, you don't bleed Maroon and Gold. Go TERPS!

And if anyone knows what it takes to Bleed Maroon and Gold.

Pleased but not shocked to see Maryland favored at home. It would be huge if Iowa goes down, then we are at least a game above everyone (assuming, obviously, a Gopher win) with the meat of our schedule still delayed a few weeks while the class of the west beat up on each other. A lot of these teams didn't expect to be looking up at Minnesota in the west, maybe some panic sets in and someone chokes away an easy one.

Not at all surprised to see MD favored at home. Home field is usually about 3 pts. About equivalent wins vs Indy is only real game to draw off b/t the two of them. Fully depends which Iowa team shows up so I'm guessing that's why you see the 3 point spread

Updated on vegas insider, based on money flow:

Gophers -12.5 to -13.

Maryland -4.5 to. -5 vs. Iowa.

Line is back to Minnesota -14.5 as of now. http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootball/odds

Other B1G:

Maryland -4.5 over Iowa
Michigan State -15.5 over Indiana
Ohio State -21.5 over Rutgers
Nebraska -6.5 over Northwestern

That MSU line seems low, considering Indiana's QB situation and how MSU will stack against the run (and how well they do when they're able to do that).

What still suprises me is Maryland is still -4.5 to-5 at home vs Iowa.

I want outright wins for Maryland, Indiana, Rutgers, Northwestern.
