It sounds like the Penn State assistant coach jobs at Penn State are must produce or be out. We hope Ciarrocca sticks.

Some where there is a line. Friendship, honor, loyalty to PJ. If that happens the boat is taking on water of Titanic proportions.Does Kirk go after his long time buddy Callahan?
Are they long time buddies? Or only since PJ@WMU?Does Kirk go after his long time buddy Callahan?
Limegrover has some ugly days...getting fired by Tracy had to be a shock. Had to hurt. Now from far away it seems like Penn State was pretty good in his department of responsibility. Team had a nice season but he gets fired. Life is hard.
Who is “they”?They always say you shouldn't burn bridges at work. You never know when you might need a friend or past job in the future.
ThisDon't feel bad for Limegrover, the dude has made a shit ton of money coaching in the past several years. If coaching is indeed his true passion he can and will coach for many years to come.
Ask Xzibit.Who is “they”?
Kirk clearly wanted his own OL coach. Perhaps someone who has "bought in" to his philosophy of using 6OL and TE as blockers only.Limegrover has some ugly days...getting fired by Tracy had to be a shock. Had to hurt. Certainly possible, but he was obviously content being the OL coach at Penn St and I highly doubt he accepted the job under the condition of being OC in waiting.Or maybe (and I am just speculating here) he had an attitude problem when he didn't get the OC job. I always wondered if he had a problem with Claeys getting the HC job over him. Limegrover also had the title of Assistant Head Coach, so maybe he thought he was next in line.

Like others have said, maybe he's just waiting until after the bowl game to bring in Callahan?
It didn't seem PSU had any real deficiencies. Hard to reason firing coaches with no deficiencies.I thought their offensive line and running game were rock sold, but then I didn't watch that many of their games. They need to get a new DB coach from what I saw.
