Let's start talking the Iowa game

There is no such thing as an easy road game in the B1G except for maybe Penn State. Nebraska has given Michigan State and Ohio State fits in Lincoln the past couple of weeks. I had no idea, but I looked it up and MN wins at Purdue about once a decade (if that). Middle of the pack teams in any conference can get beat any night on the road. This Minnesota Gopher team isn't good enough to start assuming road victories.QUOTE] Yep, I agree with you B1GSportsGuy. No games are easy. Assume nothing, ever. Go Gophers, kick some Hawkeye tail. (Especially since I'm working down here and don't want to listen to any boasting from the Iowigians.)

Correct. The final 3 games are all very very winnable for MN but they still have to show up. The Nebraska and Purdue games are probably Senior Day for both teams and we all know that usually means a dogfight.

Pertinent to the above discussion, MI will likely win, but look at current score with PSU. Showing up at center court is not good enough for anyone in this conference.

Where are you guys seeing this? I see MN at (-1.0) still.....opened at (-1.5)

Spread moves with the money. Yesterday MN was -1.5, early this a.m. game was a PK. right now MN is -1.0. Go with the flow.

Yes, but where did the "Iowa favored by 1.5 come" come from? I think he was confused as to what MN(-1.5) means. I could be wrong.

Michigan ranked #4, RPI of 6 vs PSU with an RPI in the 200s. Mich with 8 wins in conf, PSU with 11 or 12 losses and no wins.

Tied at halftime. Loses by 7 points?!

But since Minnesota has a 25 spot advantage in the Sagarin Ratings, over Iowa, I'm supposed to expect Minnesota to beat Iowa ON THE ROAD???

Man, some people must not watch very much basketball.
