LED stadium lights

Out of all the issues with college football and all the challenges facing the game, LED blinking lights are waaaay down the list.

But, they bug me and I’m concerned we may one day see some of the flashing BS in the Bank that we are now seeing in various stadiums (especially in the SEC). It isn’t the lights themselves that bug me. They are fine. It is the dimming and flashing they do with them after a score. To me, it takes away from the moment rather than enhances it.

It reminds me of a famous line from Jurassic Park:

Your Scientists Were So Preoccupied With Whether Or Not They Could, They Didn’t Stop To Think If They Should​

A HS has them in MN already. Flash on scores, when they runout before game and dimmed between 3/4 quarter.

They are all the rage.
