Per Shams:

Looks like Jaden just figured it out, lol!

I was at TC tonight. Fairly decent game against a mediocre Lakers game. After years and years of many nights with 3K in the building its fun to see the upper deck substantially full.

I recognize that Randle is a good NBA player. I just can't stand his game. He kills ball movement. (Ant does too but he makes up for it by being an extraordinary talent.)

Rob D. is fun to watch and quick as hell. The problem is he's tiny and he's getting torched on defense.

Speaking of defense, the wolves have gotten serious about it. They will need to be serious about it because their offense is mud.

I will take any and all wins and we got one tonight.

3k in the building? C'mom now. This ain't Williams Arena.
Good Jaden game. But if Conley continues to show his age, they have to make a move or free Dilly from his shackles.

It looks like Dilly has a decent outside shot. He's very quick. He moves the ball well, though I wouldn't call him an "ooh-ahhh" passer. He gets eaten for lunch by the big fellas when he tries to get to the rim. All in all, it looks like he's got decent offensive skills with upside. His size is a liability.

On defense it looks like he's trying. He loses his man and loses switches on almost every possession, leading to open shots. I didn't see him get posted up, but that will be exploited. His size is a liability.

He can't do anything about his height so he has to get a lot stronger in order to have a real impact in the NBA. He's definitely fun to watch. His quickness adds an element of excitement to a generally slow moving wolves team. I could see him as Jarrett Culver or, if I squint, super hard, maybe, maybe Trae Young (all offense, no defense). I suppose a lot of it will depend on him ending up in the right situation and I'm not sure that's here. Finch knows he's not going to get offensive flow and running as the team is currently constructed, so he's gotta have defense. Dilly can't help him with that at this point.

In terms of 3K in the building, from the time they traded KG until around 2014 there were many games where the lower bowl was half full at best and there were 50-100 lonely souls in the upper deck.

FWIW, the biz score on ESPN has the attendance listed slightly higher - 18,978 🤷‍♂️

I'm not sure people that are screaming for Rob to play more - how he has all the potential, and will likely be great, but he's really small and needs to develop a bit in the NBA 1st.

And yes, it's so great to see the place full every night, it's makes it so much more fun!

Nice stat for D:
