I saw that L'Damian Washington the WR we were pursuing from Shreveport, LA has committed to Missouri.

Not surprising he didn't come here, he was a cold weather baby. Mizzou steals another....

Who has Mizzou stole? Richardson is from St. Louis and committed early to Mizzou. If we got him, it would have been us doing the stealing. Wingo went to Arkansas and we got Bryant Allen out of St. Louis.

Could have meant that Mizzou stole another one of our recruits, ala Clemson - McNeal, Arkansas - Wingo, Ole Miss - Drummond, Michigan - Lewan, etc. Seems like we haven't been able to close the deal one many of our top recruits this year. Hopefully we can snag someone outta the blue before signing day. The morale of Gopher Nation could use a boost.

It was 70 degrees in Kansas City yesterday...

Big L- This is exactly what I meant. They beat us for his services.

2 star receiver, no big loss, next.

I didn't even think we were going after another WR unless in name was McNeal.

Kinda funny how Brew finds a 2* kid that was a verbal to La Tech to come visit and all of a sudden Nebraska, Mizzou and others start looking into him.

The Gophers were recruiting Washington as a FS, and he has stated he likes to play WR better. He didn't like the weather in Minnesota or Nebraska (who can blame him). If it was cold in Missouri this weekend or they wanted him to play defense too, he could have ended up somewhere else.

good upside player MN wanted as a DB. would have liked to have seen what he had. However, he clearly wanted to be a WR. He was very outspoken about it. Since Brewster was honest and did not try to pull a bait and switch (promising him a nonexistent) WR spot, i dont see this as a victory or a loss.

the sky is not falling.
