per the Lansing State Journal:
6. Amir Coffey, 6-8, sophomore, Minnesota
If the Gophers are going to take the jump from NCAA tournament team to something more, it’ll need Coffey to take a jump, too. He’s an intriguing prospect, such a long guard. The key to becoming an All-Big Ten player is in his outside shot. He hit less than 34 percent of his 3-point attempts last season. If that number gets close to 40, he’ll be difficult to defend.
10. Nate Mason, 6-2, senior, Minnesota
Mason is the caretaker of the Gophers’ offense and their best scorer. He is a talented and gritty senior who is playing for legacy. If he can turn Minnesota’s sometimes helter-skelter offense into something a bit more fluid, the Gophers could really go somewhere this year.
