My old man played with Lane in the Jefferson alumni golf tournament back in the day. Was right when he got the Raiders gig so must've been 2007 or whatever.

Apparently he's quite the smooth talker and was a helluva playing partner.

Big Ten and SEC may be significantly tougher than the Big 12 or ACC right now but their conference champ still deserves a spot in the playoff.

Would love to see Arizona State, Boise State or SMU win it all (can't pull for Notre Dame or Clemson).

They lost to a team that was 3-8 in games not against Ole Miss including a 20+ point loss to the 5th place ACC team and losses to under .500 Auburn and .500 Vanderbilt
