Agreed and agreed. I was surprised how WKU beat us on the boards quite a bit.

Like the OP said, far from a perfect game but man, that was pretty fun to watch.

I think the only person more excited than Gopher fans is Andy Katz. He loves us.
 

Goodness, people. I am excited about this team but come on. The Gophers have played three GOOD teams. These are good teams from MID-MAJOR conferences. Were they good wins? You bet. Should we be this excited about them? Absolutely not. If we beat UNC then let's talk. Even then I won't be talking much because the BigTen schedule brings a whole different element than beating a good opponent on a neutral court. They have beaten good, non-conference opponents the past two seasons and it really hasn't changed the fact that they were a middle of the pack BigTen team. Does this year feel like it is off to a better start than the last two? I think so, but there is no reason to get ahead of ourselves. Sit back, relax, and hell grab a beer and let's enjoy the season instead of trying to speculate whether or not this team will be a contender in November.

Whoa--I was completely with you until the last phrase. Why I can't I sit back, relax, enjoy, AND speculate? Isn't speculation part of the enjoyment?
 



haha like the 2 hockey players messages...a comedy. Anyway I think the gophers will be pretty %$#^$^ good, After seeing Sampson and mbwake I like our chances vs North Carolina.

In a way, yes. I used speculation for years with my now ex-wife, and trust me, that speculation was not enjoyable due to lack of success. Now I speculate having all the cold beer I want, whenever I want, and that speculation is enjoyable because it turns into success. Go Gophers!!!
