And just to get way ahead of ourselves, I remember a certain team that went down to Puerto Rico, knocked off one of the ACC favorites, and went on to very big things that technically never happened.
 

I can't wait to add Devoe to the mix. That said, we need to rebound better. The bigger teams will kill us if we keep rebounding like we have been.

We have to shoot free throws better.

Agreed. Very fun to watch...despite the FT's.

I think it helps when you have 2 pass-first senior guards in Nolen & Hoffarber setting the tone; it just encourages sharing the ball, hitting the open man, etc.
 





Watch these sentiments change drastically if we get beat handily by a UNC team whose ceiling is also "frightening high" as well. One game a time. We showed some signs of being a solid ball club, but like many have said, the turnovers, rebounding, and free-throw shooting were typical of a bottom tier Big Ten team tonight. With that being said this is very solid win against a WKU team that I will be keeping my eye on when filling out my bracket come tourney time in March. They will be a nightmare for a 4-5 seed. Tonight they struggled with our size, which they probably wont see again all year. Their RPI will hover in the 60-80 range depending on if they can knock off some of the high majors on their pretty daunting non conference schedule. This bodes well for us if we end up on the bubble once again, which I don't expect. UNC game should be fun tomorrow.
 



I'm not too worried about rebounding. Teams that take a lot of outside shots have long rebounds that are tough to grab when not playing man-to-man defense with the ability to block out. Plus, WKY had great athletes that were quicker to the ball. Free throws are an entirely different monster that will plague us all season. We're 3-0 with warts and no Devoe so I'm still pleasantly optimistic about what's to come!

I'm actually currently at Marquette for law school but I'm sure I can find a Badger fan some where around here.:)
 




I think its 7:30 CST according to the Strib but not 100 percent on that.
 




BIG WIN. Instead of Hofstra and then either Davidson/Nebraska we get UNC and then either West Virginia or Vandy. HUGE for our non-conference schedule given that the rest of it is bland to say the least.
 


'Ol Roy is close enough to Haiti where he can easily compare his team to the situation of that country. Also, for Gopher fans in PR, don't cheer for the Gophers or he'll have you thrown out of the arena. If you think I'm making this up, read up on 'Ol Roy last season. You know that he gets crazy when he's in a country that doesn't require some fake bake.
