Kyle Theret and Jeff Wills

I found a couple videos of Kyle Theret and Jeff Wills training for their pro day... I wonder how many of last years Gophers will get chances this year. Last year just about every senior signed to a team after the draft.

I think Wills will make a practice squad. Wouldn't surprise me if Theret ends up playing in Canada.

The only way Theret plays in the CFl is if he has Canadian citizenship we don't know about. The CFL has an import ratio and teams use their imports in speed/ skill positions (wr, rb, cb, qb, de). Additionally Theret was a step slow in the NCAA, put him on a bigger field and he will be three steps behind.

I could see Weber playing in the cfl, though.

Agree, Theret got more out of his speed than almost any kid I have seen. He knew where he was supposed to be and where he was supposed to go. He was quick for 10 -15 yards, but could not accelerate to the level you'd like for a BigTen safety. Never the less, he was virtually never our problem on defense, except when he got his butt suspended.

Weber and Wills will both be in someone's camp. I hadn't thought about Theret much, but he may project as a special teams guy.
