Per Paul:

Kirk Ciarrocca is back in Minneapolis after a brief stint away from PJ Fleck’s coaching staff. Now, he leads the Gophers into a game against the last team he was an OC with before returning to Minnesota.

Going back to 2013, Ciarrocca has been a key piece for Fleck’s staff during stints at Western Michigan and then again at Minnesota from 2017-19. Then, Ciarrocca spent 2020 on James Franklin’s Penn State staff, a brief stint that ultimately did not work out.

After a year as an analyst, Ciarrocca found his way back to Minnesota and now preps for a road trip with the Gophers against the Nittany Lions and his former boss. He addressed that matchup on Wednesday.

According to Ciarrocca, there are no “ill feelings” despite things did not work out how he was hoping. He admitted there were “a lot of reasons” things didn’t work but said he’s a better person and coach for the move.

Go Gophers!!

I think he should’ve gone full Jerry and bring it up over and over for months

This guy is taking the high road. Accepted the cards dealt whether they were properly dealt or not and moved on.

… and I shall stomp them in the face relentlessly for their unjust HR actions!!!!
