4 out of our 5 starters can drain 3's now, all potential 30-40% shooters.
 


all that's left now is to see if he can handle himself inside on D and stretch the floor on O. should make our team even more fun to watch
 



This is some much needed good news. So...Joey, it's OK to take a shot in the paint. Think about getting inside and going to the line some.
 

I am hoping he can get inside and bang a little. Big shoes to fell.
 

I think it's clear that this is what Mike Ellis was tweeting about earlier today.

Well this doesn't fix the NCAA's other screw up, but at least we have a fighting chance now.
 



Hopefully he is ready for B1G play. I'm still not convinced he is our best option at the 4.

STrib: Joey King's waiver granted by NCAA

The Drake transfer's immediate availability is a huge boost for the Gophers, whose frontcourt is very thin otherwise after the losses of Trevor Mbakwe and Rodney Williams. The 6-7 King will likely start the season at power forward. Without him, Minnesota would have conceivably been looking at a four-guard lineup.

I think ultimately this will benefit Buggs and Wally. Both will get plenty of playing time at the 4 but will have less pressure on them. It's good to have options!

King's height

So anyone have a guess to whether King is 6'7" or 6'9"? And yes it does matter.
