plus they commit and decommit so oftenIt is crazy how much HS recruiting has slid into the background. This board used to be full of threads about recruiting and star rankings. Now, it hardly gets mentioned. But makes sense because in general HS recruits are going to need time to develop before they are ready to play whereas transfers have much more potential to start right away.
And with the way guys move around there is no guarantee that anyone who signs tomorrow will ever actually see the field for the Gophers.

Possibly and lost two to Texas.Burns has indicated this might be Fleck's best signing class yet.
I want guys with 5 star heartsPeople got smart and remembered that stars don’t matter![]()
IIRC they have a bit of a unbalanced recruiting schedule for this year and next year they can take a bunch.I'm kind of surprised Nebraska only has 9 or 10 commitments at this point. Matt Rhule must be planning to add more late?
They have a composite ranking of 109 on 24-7, they do have a 5* & a 4*.
I think in the last 20 years college football has improved as far as player development across the board.Kinda seems like young kids are getting raw dogged. Player freedom is probably good via new transfer rules but probably at the cost of development to some extent.
Does anyone feel like the quality of college football has improved w nil and transfer rules post COVID?
You mean no Jarvis Johnsons?I want guys with 5 star hearts
We lost the running back to Texas but who was the other one?Possibly and lost two to Texas.
I feel the transfers have been a positive overall for MN although someone pointed out that this year may have been an exception to that.Kinda seems like young kids are getting raw dogged. Player freedom is probably good via new transfer rules but probably at the cost of development to some extent.

I think the kids name was Charlie Jilek. Possibly a TE.We lost the running back to Texas but who was the other one?
