Said they practiced Wed. as though Max will be the starter against Northwestern. Gray hasn't come back as quick as they thought he would. Next Wed is the deadline
to see if Gray starts/plays against the Cats. Yesterday he was still in sweats and jogging.

Would hope that by the Northwestern game Gray could at the very least serve as a backup/emergency option but tough to say because high ankle sprains are such a crap shoot from a recovery standpoint.

On KFAN Limegrover told PA that Gray has a noticeable limp when running? That does not sound like a running QB that will be ready by next Saturday.
