Transitions' Kevin Noreen selected Minnesota's Mr. Basketball

Minnesota Transitions' Kevin Noreen has been selected Minnesota's Mr. Basketball, the Mr. Basketball committee announced today.
Noreen, a 6-foot-10 power forward, guided his team to the Class A championship and is statistically the most dominant player in the state.
The Boston College recruit averaged 38.6 points, 16.5 rebounds, 5.9 assists, 3.9 steals and 3.2 blocks per game.
The other Mr. Basketball finalists were Marshall Bjorklund from Sibley East, Trevor Gruis from Ellsworth, Dyami Starks from Duluth East, and Jacob Thomas from Columbia Heights."
Noreen finished his career with 4,086 points, breaking the previous record of 3,428 by former Ellsworth star and Augustana standout Cody Schilling.
