Congratulations to Kent. I enjoyed his columns covering Gopher WBB. I looked forward on game day to read about players or the previews. Hope the Strib continues. I hope Kent has a great retirement

The recent four page print edition sports sections make we wonder if the paper even wants to cover the full sporting scene any longer.

Kent, thanks for never asking the tough questions of the Whalen trash coaching staff. Always positive about the Gophers team and trajectory while players continually marched out the door and to become much more successful elsewhere . You needed to be professional and simply do your job...no matter if your buddy buddy with the staff. Enjoy retirement.
