They are Anthony LaPanta, Stanley Jackson, Jamie Hersch

is this jamie hersch's new gig?

Yes. This is the former FS North Jamie Hersch and no it is not her new gig. She going to the NHL Network.

Fsn girl Jamie ??

She never was an "FSN Girl" of the type that did the promos for FSN. She is a legitimate reporter with an actual degree in journalism.

I'm guessing she'll be the sideline reporter for the Gopher game. I don't think that's the first time she's done that (correct me if I'm wrong).

Will LaPanta say his very annoying "SCOOOOOOOOOOOORE" when he does a football game? Nice guy in real life, but he is hard to listen to on hockey games.

He won't say it that way, scoring is much more exciting in hockey than in football.

One of LaPanta's first game calls was Mounds View vs. CDH for the 1996 section final. I have the taped broadcast and believe it or not he's come a long way.

I could watch Hersch ALL day!

I have never understood why people rip on LaPanta. I have heard him many times on hockey games and it seems to me he is quite good at what he does. He always seems very knowledgable.

I've never heard him do a hockey game and I never will.

I think it's the hair

He was doing high school hockey even before that with Kevin Gorg. I have some of those taped too.

I guess - but it's not as drastic as it seems. There is an average of 8 touchdowns a game in college football, with an average of 5.5 goals per game in hockey.

I think for me it's mostly the voice and delivery. Hard to listen to. Like I said, I'm not ripping on him as a person. I've heard good things about him being a nice guy, but just don't like how he calls a hockey game.

It's not only about the volume of scoring, the plays themselves are more exciting and less predictable in hockey. Often you can see a TD coming many plays ahead or even as it's happening you know it's a score for seconds before the ball crosses the goal line, hockey scoring plays are much more sudden and cathartic.

By the way, I was a little off - there are 8 touchdowns equivalent of points per game but obviously some of those points come off of field goals. Either way, I get what you're saying about hockey goals having the surprise factor.
