Just sayin...... This is a thing now.
 




I noticed that former Gopher Lee Hutton is his attorney.
Years ago, he represented a player that was allegedly involved with the "train". There was a Gofundme set up and I remember not a single penny was donated.

Looking at a few stories my guess is that Kent State is probably trying to get out of paying buyout money or something like that by saying he was fired for something other than only winning 1 game in 2 years.

Didn't Hutton represent several of the accused in that situation?

Curious to see the grounds for Burns' suit. You'd figure 1-23 would be enough to get fired.

1-23 is definitely grounds for being fired, WITH BUYOUT.

That's the difference. You make that promise, the coach (rightfully so) will hold you to it. If you wanna hire people and fire them without paying a large buyout, don't offer the buyout to begin with.

I don't think any AD plans for a program to be THAT BAD, along with some shady financial things going on in the background. But if Burns is OK with never getting a HC job again as all the dirty laundry comes out, go ahead and sue.

I don't believe CKB was ever going to have to worry about getting a Head Coaching opportunity again. Pretty certain I'll sleep well tonight know that was never a consideration.
