Can't believe Tennessee won. Maybe they can actually keep it together after losing Smith?

Helpful for Purdue's resume too, so can't complain ;)

Kansas hasn't looked like the #1 team in the country on a couple occasions this year and this was one of them. I think they got bailed out in a few earlier games this year already.

Luckily for basketball, one bad loss doesn't damn your whole season like the joke that is NCAA football.

Tennessee is a good team, so it's not that bad a loss.. still one Kansas should pull out, but that's why they play the games.

Exactly - they lost to the #16 team on the road, and TN is a tough place to play. Respectable loss. Plus, I always think it's better for teams going into the tourney to lose a few games, get tested, and they can learn from those mistakes if they're making a run at the NC.

Tennessee isn't exactly your typical #16 team right now, though. 6 scholarship players.

I've heard of 'The Google'

I've heard of 'The Google', but don't really know how to use it. What the hell? Can you explain why they have only 6 scholarship players? That's amazing to beat the #1 team in the nation if that's true.

And as someone above said, isn't it great that you can actually lose (gasp!) a game and still have a chance at the NC? How stupid is the current state of college football and the 75 bowl games?

With two of their best players in foul trouble and TN with a short bench because of injury and legal troubles TN played with walk-ons and freshmen. This is a very bad loss for Kansas.
