Wow. I was going to blindly like this thread, but I felt if necessary to clarify that I like Walley's inner strength and drive. Obviously not the injury.
I'd like to think our medical staff is ensuring that his health is the top priority. My concern is not his toughness, but rather will he do more medical damage that will create a problem for him in the future?
Great point. I think it would be hard though because in his case, it might mean giving up a big gain/ a TD.I personally attribute a big part of Autman-Bell's injury history due to his toughness and second efforts to make the play. Hopefully Wally can keep this under control.
I sincerely doubt our medical staff would let him play if playing was going to cause irreparable damage (i.e. cause problems in the future) to his knee.My concern is not his toughness, but rather will he do more medical damage that will create a problem for him in the future?
Yep. He missed two games and we have had a bye week as well. He wouldn't be playing if they thought he could seriously injure the knee by playing.I sincerely doubt our medical staff would let him play if playing was going to cause irreparable damage (i.e. cause problems in the future) to his knee.
Yeah and PJ has made it clear that the medical staff makes their call and that's the law. He's not really even involved in those calls.I sincerely doubt our medical staff would let him play if playing was going to cause irreparable damage (i.e. cause problems in the future) to his knee.
He was a true freshman in 2021 and played the whole season so assuming we are back to the 5 years to play 4 then this is it for him.Is Walley in the draft this year?
