It's a shame this didn't happen during KG era, but alas...

Howl Wolves!!

I can see both arguments for swapping and leaving Toronto and Philly.

DC and Philly are so close by train. Then again so is Philly from Manhattan and Brooklyn.

I also think there is more versatility culturally with Memphis and New Orleans. They feel like they fit with both the TX teams and SE teams.

Whereas, the placement of the Twolves here is really the only place we fit culturally.

I wouldn’t mind KC or St Louis getting a team over Vegas. However, I would bet OKC would block that idea. As would the greed of sports gambling apparatus.

I feel like Philly needs to be with DC otherwise DC is in a Midwest division.
And that’s why Toronto goes with Detroit and Indiana

These divisions.

6 games vs each team in your division (24)
3 games vs each team in your conference (36)
2 games vs each in other conference (32)

2 extra games vs anyone for TV matchups,in season tourney, etc

I was thinking the extra games could be rivalry games, or an extra home away with a team that finished similar to you in your conference or the other conference

Your numbers add up to 92 games and if there are 4 teams in a division 6 games against the other teams in the division would be 18 as you would play the other 3 teams. That would make the total number of games played 86.

Could do
4 vs. division for 12 games
3 vs. conference for 36
2 vs. other conference for 32
Then 2 other games during the in season tournament.
