Johnson: We tried everything...We set up the locker room like it was a visiting locker room at UCLA just to mentally take them to a different place.

Yeah, finishing .500 after playing several non-conference patsies is quite the accomplishment.
Something Ben Johnson strives to achieve. Needs to go 2-2 in the final 4 to achieve it twice in 4 years like Brewster did.

Yeah, I really don't get the point of debating who was worse. Brew was a horrible hire on the football side and Johnson has been a horrible hire on the basketball side.
Right, and the most important discussion point is that Brewster was fired before he even finished year 4. Johnson should have the same fate now or right after the last game.

Based on what? Brewster was 6-21 in the Big Ten.
"Far better" is probably a stretch. But 2 Bowl Games that were the equivalent of making the NIT is one better than Ben. And at the peak of his tenure in year 2, we were ranked in the top 20, something Ben has never come remotely close to.

In the end, they were both terrible hires that never should have been made due to having zero previous HC experience. Brew was rightfully canned halfway through year 4. Ben should have been as well, instead of having the local media defend him to the death.

He literally has nothing left at this point. Coyle would be doing him a favor to just end it now as opposed to letting it go another week and a half.

Trying to create a road environment at home.....wtf is that? This has to be rock bottom, whatever positivity there was from the 6-3 stretch with some good wins mixed in has been obliterated over these past couple of games.
Can we now call the last two games road losses?🤔
