John Shipley: More COVID transparency needed from Gophers football

yeah good luck with that one. Coaches across the country are going to give out the bare minimum when it comes to health related issues.

I don't know, the article states that Karl Minges says that they should be more transparent. Karl Minges!

A reporter for football needs more football news than covid news that would be more interesting.

Why doesn't the governor give an injury or illness report for all state employees to the people on a daily basis? Who might be questionable to come to work tomorrow? How long does Suzie at the DMV still have left in the Protocol? It's our right to know we pay their salaries.

Not Suzie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe Shipley should share all of his own medical records first as a way to start the conversation?

The Gophers don't owe us anything and using the Covid death numbers to try to get Fleck to release medical records is classless. As long as they're sharing internally so they can notify players/staff who were exposed to someone who tested positive, there's no need to share anything with the public.

Has the Pioneer Press been publishing numbers on how many of their employees test positive? Using the same logic, they should be.

I love that this guy got mad that Fleck didn't want to answer his stupid questions and then tried to make his personal agenda sound like it was for the greater good. Like, sucks that you can't spend all week writing about every player who caught COVID, must be awful to have to brainstorm other story ideas.

I, for one, am enjoying not knowing if we're going to have a kicker tonight. Like maybe Minnesota is full-strength and we'll get to watch them beat up on Maryland, or maybe Tanner Morgan is still at home in bed in Minneapolis. It's like a roulette wheel of Gopher football highs and lows.
