Jim Souhan: "Tubby Smith's arrogance is remarkable"

I guess I don't see anything inaccurate in his column. Granted, he's a *&^!#*&^!#*&^!#*&^!#*&^!#*&^!#bag....but he's also right.

While reading through the posts I thought I was going to be the only one who felt this way.

1. Tubby needs to take more of the blame and start realizing that HIS team was on the court all season and he had no insurance policy for a freshman center going down and his senior point guard getting injured. That's on him, as is his inability to coach up the rest of his players. He has been someone I've respected as our coach the first few years but this year he took a step backwards with the team mostly due to his public comments and inability to stop the losing skid.

2. Any comments on Kill need to be held off for the time being as he needs time to succeed or fail before judgments are made. So far he has done nothing to be critical of.

3. His takes on the Vikings, Wild, and Wolves seemed accuarate to me.

4. I don't read him very often which may be why I could stomach him more than others but he's entitled to his opinion and to me it didn't suck.

I will give Souhan credit here, I think he has given the Gopherhole a new headline to mock and use in replace of "akward win over Indiana proves Gophers not contendors"

The akward win over Indiana is a true classic.
