Jim Grobe at Wake Forest

Let me first say that this hire would bot excite me that much but I wouldn't be suprised to see his name pop up. The reasons are that he has done relatively well at a difficult program with many obstacles to overcome. He is also well respected in the coaching community, runs a clean program, and his name has been presented by the Parker search firm before for other jobs. He is squeaky clean and I think this might have appeal for Maturi. He also wouldnt break the bank.

I suggested him a while back and the feeling was he would be hard to get since he has a good thing going at Wake. I think he'd be a great hire for the simple reason he won a conference championships at Wake, which is equally as amazing as winning one at Northwestern did back in 1995. He certainly got us back in 2000.

Grobe is too old, he will be 59 in 3 months (JK).

I don't mind him but i'd prefer a few other coaches first.
