The kid is a baller and has a skill set we haven’t seen much around the program.

This is a good trivia question... I can only think of Dallas Skyline from the Tim Brewster days. When is the last time we had three recruits from one school in the same class?
I stand double corrected. I should have read the entire thread... and there was 4, not 3. I was forgetful AND wrong. This is a good trivia question... I can only think of Dallas Skyline from the Tim Brewster days.
- Kenan Cooper
- Troy Stoudemire
- Name blanks me on the 3rd... someone will help me out.
You're confusing Coach Fleck with Coach Kill. Coach Kill was the one who didn't care if his QB's could do that or not.Does he throw the ball down the field?
At least the OP got both o's instead of just one. Progress.Again It's spelled Moorhead. If you are familiar with hockey we just won state. Can the mods correct this? Are the people starting the threads in here from Wisconsin and don't know how to spell Minnesota cities?
Im tempted start a thread with an Edinah commit. I would bet that gets corrected.
Are you sure it’s not Morehead. That’s how we spelt it in AlexAgain It's spelled Moorhead.

Ranked the 39th Best QB prospect in the Country, you are hard to please LOLI’ll be impressed when he completes 75% of his passes![]()
Or I’m overly sarcasticRanked the 39th Best QB prospect in the Country, you are hard to please LOL

And now you will probably never see it spelled correctly on this site again.Again It's spelled Moorhead. If you are familiar with hockey we just won state. Can the mods correct this? Are the people starting the threads in here from Wisconsin and don't know how to spell Minnesota cities?

Any comment about a local QB committing to the Gophers or are you just going to complain about grammar like a dorkcheck the thread title. the mods seem to agree with me
I haven't complained about grammar once in this thread. You don't seem to know what grammar is. Im going to put you on ignore. Have a nice life.Any comment about a local QB committing to the Gophers or are you just going to complain about grammar like a dork
The video should be labeled as "Future 1st Round Pick Minnesota QB Mitch Leidner 2015 Highlights"
All 4 were part of the 2008 recruiting class. It was the one that got everyone excited about Brewster.Well, just checked the 2010 roster on Gophersports.com.
Keanon Cooper, So. Skyline
Da'Jon McKnight Jr. Skyline
Spencer Reeves So. Skyline
Troy Stoudermire Jr. Skyline
So it looks like 2 each from Dallas Skyline for 2 years in a row.
He reminds me of Phil Nelson in HS.He is accurate and can move around. I was impressed with his pocket presence. He ran when he needed to and just keeps the chains moving.
Nelson was one of the biggest and strongest kids on the field in most games and ran a lot more, remembering back. Nelson was 6'2" 215 and Feeney is 6'1" and 190He reminds me of Phil Nelson in HS.
I remember Kill's first class had three commits from Miami Central. I'm not sure they all signed LOIs however. For some reason I think there were a couple from Dallas Skyline about 20 years ago. But that's the closest I can think of.
If I recall correctly McKnight was the lowest rated of the bunch, but made more of an impact than Cooper who was the highest rated. All 4 were part of the 2008 recruiting class. It was the one that got everyone excited about Brewster.
Has a couple years to fill out. Might even grow another inch or so.Nelson was one of the biggest and strongest kids on the field in most games and ran a lot more, remembering back. Nelson was 6'2" 215 and Feeney is 6'1" and 190
Completely agree. Nelson was supposed to be our Tebow. I don’t think he’s a great comparison for what I’ve seen of Jett.Nelson was one of the biggest and strongest kids on the field in most games and ran a lot more, remembering back. Nelson was 6'2" 215 and Feeney is 6'1" and 190
Kind of a combo of Brady and Marino and Lamar Jackson? In the game I saw him play he looked like a real gunslinger. He moved around and was very accurate.
1976 Rochester Mayo: Dave Gardner, Tom Fitzpatrick and Mark Owens. Gardner is the only one that got significant playing time. Sadly, Owens is the only one still alive, as Gardner and Fitz passed within about the last 6 years.I remember Kill's first class had three commits from Miami Central. I'm not sure they all signed LOIs however.
Not 40 yardsHaving a TD-to-INT ratio of 27:2 sure looks nice. It's great to see the U/Fleck doing well with the MN outstate kids.
For those that have seen him play, is he an athletic QB? Can he run effectively? Does he throw the ball down the field?
I noticed that with a couple other recruits too (might have even been the other Moorhead commits). Wondering if they all had the same graphic designer make it. Just strange you’d use a uniform that hasn’t been worn in 10 years.Other than the helmet, looks like a Kill era uniform.
