I agree with that. I liked Costa's comment on another thread, where he said something to the effect of "we have been drowning, and we are made at him because he is describing the water." When your team is coming off a really bad 50 years, fair analysis is going to sting. He is maybe a little colorful with his language and criticism, but to say that we have been bad for a long time is fair. I get the feeling the Reusse would like nothing more than to be praising a Pasadena-bound Gopher team for a great season, but he is not going to get too excited about wins over weak out of conference teams or a trip to a bowl game with a 2-6 B1G record.
Last season when the basketball team was at the top of their game, ranked #9 in the country, we were playing Northwestern at home and were leading 17-14 after an admittedly very ugly half of basketball from both teams, and he made a tweet bashing the fans for "supporting this garbage" or something along those lines, so he's not unwilling to bash even when we're doing well.
