When your team is coming off a really bad 50 years, fair analysis is going to sting. He is maybe a little colorful with his language and criticism, but to say that we have been bad for a long time is fair. I get the feeling the Reusse would like nothing more than to be praising a Pasadena-bound Gopher team for a great season, but he is not going to get too excited about wins over weak out of conference teams or a trip to a bowl game with a 2-6 B1G record.

Last season when the basketball team was at the top of their game, ranked #9 in the country, we were playing Northwestern at home and were leading 17-14 after an admittedly very ugly half of basketball from both teams, and he made a tweet bashing the fans for "supporting this garbage" or something along those lines, so he's not unwilling to bash even when we're doing well.

Exactly. Northern Illinois was the better team and it wasn't close.

We'll know in a few weeks whether the win over Nebraska was an upset. We might even be the better team....

He also said Tyus Jones and Vaughn eliminated the Gophers. It's sarcasm. Albeit very dry and rude. But sarcasm nonetheless. You can hate him, but he is no enemy of the Gophers.
 

The Gophers were favored by 15 going into that game. Hindsight doesn't factor into whether it was an upset at the time. At the time, it absolutely was without question an upset and a fairly large one at that.

Hindsight factors into whether it really was an upset. Vegas bets on all games, but no one always knows who is good, average, and bad until later in the season. If the Gophers end up 9-3 and Nebraska is 7-5, it wasn't really an upset.

Wrong again. You started it (twice, actually). I responded (again, to the second, ignoring the first altogether). It's all there in black and white for anyone to see. You just can't refrain from shooting your mouth off because of your massive inferiority complex, whether we're discussing the Vikings, the Vadgers, or your near-total lack of ability to make any interesting or relevant points whatsoever.
