had a stellar game to end his gopher career, as did the entire offensive line. how about the development of the offensive line as the season went on?

Amen to this sentiment. Davis has done a good job with a banged-up bunch. Wills has really put it together this year. He slims down a bit more and he's got a chance at the next level.

Mr. Wills, you would have every right to come on this board and thump your chest as Jeff had a great year and stellar game tonight but I know you are to classy of an individual to do that. Enjoy the moment and let those who doubted wallow in their angst. Also, please understand the vast majority of Gopher fans truly appreciate Jeff's dedication and contributions to the Gopher program.
Go Gophers!

Yes man you said you would develop and you did....always be a gopher!!!

Well done, Jeff, good luck at the next level.

Just an awesome, awesome performance by the O-Line tonight! Weber was hardly pressured at all. My God, Dom Alford (who lost his job to a RS Freshman earlier this year, btw) completely bottled up a guy who was once thought of as a possible top ten pick (Clayborn). Our nondescript (albeit hard running) backs rushed for over 200 yards on the 6th ranked run defense in the nation. We were consistently more physical, athletic, and just plain tougher. It was just so sweet to watch. Great job boys...enjoy this one!

Willis, Collado, Weber

Delighted for these guys to have the Iowa game in the books. I don't get to see many games, but it seems these guys always gave it all they had every game.

Thank you Jeff Wills for being part of Gopher Nation. Some of us never doubted you.

A ton of kudos to this kid. He arrived very overweight and seemingly not very strong. He was consistently beaten and called for penalties. I don't recall many ( if any) penalties this year and he was solid absolutely in every aspect of his game. What an effort by a young man to be all he can be. No doubt at all that he will be paid to play next year. Thank you young Jeff for being a part of our family.

Tim Davis should be retained as O-line coach regardless of who the next HC will be.

Jeff did as good a job as I KNEW he would do. As a friend of his, I've written here how good he was and how hard he works. To those who recognize his efforts, I'm with you. To those who didn't and doubted him, I have four words for you in acronym form: STFU. Good Job, Jeff!

The entire O-Line looked very good today and has gotten so much better from last year. We pass block at almost an elite level in the BT and they were opening up some holes today. Alford and Wills looked awesome and minus the false starts, I thought Bunders was really pulling/trapping and getting off the ball well.

This team has been good at pass protection since about game 5 last season.
The run blocking is just starting to click. Hopefully we have some good players to replace these guys next season.

Yeah, the only good thing about being so beat up this season is that a lot of players got PT this season who will be returning (Olson, Bunders, Wynn, Orton, etc.).

The key is if Gjere, Michel, and Mottla can step up and play well next season.
