If you went out side and stood by your chain link fence that would help even more.
Nope, too cold. Bone chilling 40's ya know. So I hire Cobber Girls to line up along my fence to help.

I think it is expecting too much of fair weather Gopher fans to attend a late October afternoon game when the temperature is going to be a bone chilling 40 degrees or so, because they haven't put away the tank tops and dug out the ice fishing clothing yet.
Do you think going to the game and pretending like it is a good team enhances the performance of the team? Why don't you just stay home? I am sorry about that but I just have a low tolerance for whiners. I have always been partial to people who have a positive attitude and actually do things to make things better. By staying home you might make things better for yourself.
You don't think there will be 15k no shows to a game in 40 degree temps? Maybe there will be at the start. If the game is ugly there will be less than 20k in the second half. No, they'll have more than that in the house. Though I'm sure they'll be people that say less than that.
Honestly, if the weather is clear and sunny, they'll be people in the stands. I'd even say that there's enough interest in Nelson alone to get it up past that in the stands.

I will be at 9/12 games this year. I can make the decision on my own whether it is worth my time to stay. Thanks for that thought though.
I was at the Illinois game and I was also at the Iowa game two years ago. I've been trying to give away 4 extra tickets to the game on Saturday and cannot find any takers. People have better things to do than watch the lowly Gophers and this attitude continues to get worse with every Big Ten loss. Not my opinion, but the opinion of many. Throw in the UNC debacle and many fair weather fans or even sports fans in general have no desire to watch this team play, let alone in 40 degree weather. Sad but true.
Actually it does make a difference. Most people realize when the fans support their team it has a positive impact on how they play. For god sake, if you are that miserable stop going to the games or do you enjoy being that way?
Me, like most other who are sane, do not have their enjoyment on the games based on wins and losses. If your enjoyment is, you picked the wrong team.Actually it does make a difference.
