10.87 is a pretty fast time for a meet that isn’t section/state

He will get faster and faster in may barring injury.
Minnesota HS track season is ridiculously short and cold and nobody can really run good sprint times until the last 3-4 weeks usually

Not that it's not always a focus, but there seems to be some focus on that higher end track speed in some of recent recruits. This includes the recent offer FL RB - JT Bronaugh as well, who according to 247's recent write-up has run 10.6 in the 100m in three different meets this year. Like they always say, there's no teaching that kind of speed.
