First off, to all the CBJ homers, just relax with this one, it's all good. I'd go with "The Bell" when you see or hear him the match is over! Get it, hes bad plus a play on the Undertaker wrestling comp and terrible lady in game 1 calling it a match not a game.

This could be a good thread.
Like to hear some more.
The headline in tomorrow's paper will read: "Jack Bunyan chops down Edey."

This a Harding/Kerrigan situation? Why is Jack playing Edey tomorrow? I don’t follow.

Big Jack

Every day at the court you could see him arrive
He stood six feet eleven and weighed two eighty five
Kinda broad at the shoulder and narrow at the hip
And everybody knew you didn't take it to the hole on Big Jack

Nobody seemed to know where Jack came from
Just drifted in from the portal and called the Gophers home
He didn't shoot much, not a scorer they say
But take it to the hole and he would make you pay

Then came a day with the game on the line
Jack took a charge and now was his time
He calmly took the ball and dropped two in the hole
Coach Ben shouted out "Well bless my soul"

Big Jack, Big Jack, Big Bad Jack

Well played, even if only 5% of us get the reference.

Your Jack Pine.

OK, that's good. I have to admit.

When I was a young kid growing up in the east, there was a confrontational, frequently insulting, and somewhat right-wing TV talk show host named Joe Pyne. My mom and I used to watch his show just to laugh at his insults. Your nickname reminded me of him.

You don’t even know how good that was. Not many here would know that tune.

Probably true. The song "Big Bad John" was released in September 1961. By November it was number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Jimmy Dean won the 1962 Grammy award for the Best Country and Western recording with the song.
