It's frustrating when things don't live up to expectations. one of the HS teams I follow is 1-4, and has been outscored 90-7 in the last two games.
But, to address the OP - the Gophers (IMHO) have multiple problems on offense. switching QB's might - I repeat might address one of those problems - but a new QB is not going to serve as the magic bullet that solves all of the team's problems in an instant.
an effective offense needs all 11 players working in unison - the line needs to block, the receivers need to run good routes and get separation, the backs need to hit the right holes at the right time, and the QB needs to orchestrate the whole shebang. As much as the QB play makes people upset - there are still 10 other players out there on offense.
