Didn't see this posted anywhere on the board so I figured I would post it but DAMN he absolutely kills some kids in this video.

Those are called pancakes.....

With all that pulling he looks like the next Eslinger!

Anyone with a different color jersey is fair game for young Mr. Hayes.

I'm impressed with his ability to maintain his blocks.

Dudes like a homing missile just looking for a target.

hahahahaha. Everybody that goes up against him just ends up right on their backside.

Looks good. He and Pirsig will add some nice depth to the O-Line. Hopefully we have enough talent there now that they can sit for a year, hit the weight room and digest Limegrover's offense then hit the ground running in 2013 and beyond.

Would love to see us get back to the Mason days when you could always count on the O-Line to be solid. The recruits weren't big names or all that highly ranked in a lot cases but the coaches knew what kind of players they needed and they went out and found them. For all the deficiencies we have in the state when it comes to the skill positions, offensive line is one where you really shouldn't have to reach much beyond the boarders to find guys.

I love watching lineman highlight tapes. I'm guilty about 99 percent of the time of just watching the ball and not noticing what goes on up front. That little arrow that follows the lineman is a godsend for a scatterbrained doofus like me.

Other than the McAvoys and Ferguson, do we have any offensive linemen from outstate? Can't think of any off the top of my head.

Ha! Love the screen pass where Hayes is 15 yards down field and just pushes the defender down like he's a 4-year old. (00:58). Almost feel sorry that dude.

Epping Wi, Lenkiewitz Ill, and Bush Wi.

Michel from Indiana as well, but it sounds like his career's been cut short unfortunately.

That is straight from the roster on gophersports.com Most guys are from Minnesota as it should be. I think Brewster's problem was that he never settled on an offense style so he had guys that fit a lot of different types of offense. With Kill's staff he will have a specific type of offensive lineman that they will look for much like Mason did all those years where Shaw and Browning would just go find the guys that fit what they were looking for.

That's a young group, that bodes well for the future.

I'm loving the linemen Kill is bringing in. The o-line this year struggled early on but they got significantly better toward the end. This is where building a team starts; in the trenches. I know Pirsig was the most highly touted recruit for this year's class, but I would have to say I'm most excited about Hayes. Love the block at 1:18.

Gotta love a guy that finishes his blocks like that...if he is smart and can make the line calls...could be a great center for us.

I agree and the coaching staff agrees he was recruited to play center.
