How many times can RS111 put up a lame sky hook or a 3 footer from an offensive rebound or feed that either clinks, clanks, clunks, or just plain misses the cylinder entirely???

Our big men tonight are making me look forward to the next combo EE and Mo.

Not Even CLOSE!

Ralph is playing respectable.

Ralph is the biggest pussy in the Big Ten. I'm actually looking forward to him graduating after next season.

Sampson is the least of our problems. We only have three legitimate tournament quality players playing right now. Outside of Mbakwe, Hoffarber, and Sampson, no one else on our team should be playing for a tournament team. Armelin, Hollins, and Willilams may develop, but they shouldn't be playing on a team with tournament aspirations right now. All three show signs but aren't consistent enough. Iverson and Ahanmisi are terrible. Iverson was better as a freshman.

This is one of the worst threads I've seen in awhile. Ralph is not anywhere near one of the worst offensive big men, he is someone who can ACTUALLY score on our team.

Amen. Ralph is soft and has some bad games but good god he looks like Larry Bird compared to our entire team besides the obvious two. Anyone else praying Rodney goes pro?

16 pts, 11 boards, 4 blocks, and only 1 TO in 29 minutes. Are you kidding me!?

Rodney going pro? Why? He is just a SOPH still learning to play facing the basket. He needs to shoot, shoot, shoot thos offseason. At least he has hops and can play defense.

Mav is the one that needs to find a nice D-II school next year. He brings nothing positive to the floor.

Sampson had 16 and 11 tonight and we're complaining about him?

It took him 17 shots to get 16 pts. Bob Knight has always said points per shot is the most underrated stat. Less than 1 pt per shot is terrible.

I think 11 rebounds, 4 blocks, and only 1 turnover makes up for poor offensive efficiency.

Ralph shot a higher percentage from the floor than the team as a whole. At the very worst, Ralph played a decent game tonight. Our concerns should lie elsewhere.

Ralph was our second best player tonight. Ralph takes a lot of heat because he withers from contact and we as fans can imagine if he could play through physical contact. He still is outplaying Colt by leaps and bounds right now. Rodney on the other hand is clueless. He plays like he has only had 2 years of high school basketball.

Ralph was not the problem last night. He's been the problem at points during the season, but he played a good game last night, especially compared to some other guys.

This is the DUMBEST thread of the month. After last night's game this is what you come up with?

Congratulations!

He wasn't the problem or the answer, I'd much rather see Trevor get 17 shots.

Yup.....Ralph was so bad last night that his points to shot ratio was 3rd on the team.

Mbakwe 1.89
Hoffarber 1.15
Sampson III .94
Hollins .86
Williams .75
Armelin .29
Iverson .00
Ahanmisi .00
Dawson NA

Get a clue

I would rather see Trevor get 17 shots if Trevor could play at all with his back to the basket. The reason Trevor shoots such a high percentage is because if he gets the ball with his back to the basket he often doesn't even get a shot up. If Trevor could get 17 shots it would mean that he has a ton of offensive rebounds and the team has a ton of assists.

Last year people wanted to run off Cobbs & we'd be a much better team today if he'd stayed. The year before that people wanted to run off Colt & now he's an important member of the team. 4 years ago people wanted to run off DJ & he became a major contributor. Patience folks, it's called "player development". I expect Mav to be a major contributor his Jr/Sr years. He was never meant to play this season, but was forced into action. Think Ryan Collado from the football team.
