it's a combination of factors - covid and 2 ACL's. not going to see this very often.

as opposed to college hockey, where players spend multiple years playing junior hockey and become college freshmen when they're 20+ years old.

I went to check the Gopher Men's hockey roster - and they do not even include dates of birth or actual ages. hmmm....wonder why.
