Iowa's impressive wins don't look as impressive now weeks later.

Started the season with back to back wins over ranked teams.
Indiana and Iowa St.

Indiana's best win at this point is over Western Kentucky.
Iowa St lost again today after being ranked again, the media darlings that they are.
Iowa St is at 5-3 with wins over OKie St and Kansas, K-State, UNI, and UNLV. Okie St being the impressive win in that group.

The trashed MD and they beat PSU. Both games had injuries of course, but neither of those teams appear to be great at this point.


Seeing the Iowa team play offense, you almost wonder if the line isn't Iowa -3 or less by the time we play that game should we take care of Illinois next week.
 

Iowa St. and Indiana looking like one-hit wonders.
 

Don't forget they also have to live in Iowa. That's never impressive.
 


I wonder if the Hawkeye fan boards are questioning the offensive play calling...

... or calling for Brian Ferentz to be fired.
